Where Would You Go For A Summer Road Trip? - Readers’ Choice

Posted by Poquet Auto on Jun 28, 2016 10:38:28 AM

In our lives, many of us have taken road trips with our parents and significant others to different areas around the world (sometimes voluntarily, sometimes forced). But one thing is for sure, road trips are a great way to create lifelong memories and spend time with the ones you love. With this in mind, we asked our fans and followers where they would go for a summer roadtrip.

Check out what they had to say!

  • CPP: I'd grab my Starbucks card that I won from Poquet and head home to the small farming community where I grew up, located in Northwest Iowa. My Mom and Dad still live there and my Dad is still farming at the young age of 76!
  • CM: I would love to circle the Great Lakes. Duluth, Montreal all the way around to Chicago. Lots of ports - lots of good eating. It's a road trip less travelled, but many waterfalls and beauty to behold.
  • JHD: Road trip to Maine taking a route through Canada to get there. My parents would roadtrip through Canada on their vacations and it would be fun to stop at some of the same places they did over the years.

  • ML: I would hop in my car and drive to New York. Once there I would go to see a Yankees game. After that drive south towards Florida to enjoy the sunshine state.
  • BS: I would road trip in a convertible around the great lakes and stay in tons of bed and breakfasts with my awesome wife.
  • JKG: To Salem, Oregon to see my son and his love, stopping in the Black Hills, SD, Yellowstone National Park Wyoming, and Mt. Hood, Oregon on the way.
  • JC: The Canadian Rocky Mountains, because i've always wanted to see them and my spouse wants to go to Whistler, British Columbia.
  • CL: Mackinac island to park my car at port... For the ironic road trip.
  • RDL: Across the USA on Route 66 then up the Pacific Coast Highway to the Canadian Border!
  • KJG: North Shore! Grand Marais, Lutsen and all states parks along the way!! Best scenery anywhere!!
  • LD: To Sacramento to visit grand kids and drive thru Grand Canyon Hoover dam Vegas Strip and Lake Tahoe.
  • KS:l Australia...the most beautiful wide open natural habitat in the world would be right there!
  • PJS: St. Paul because I never go there and it seems like there might be some ok people on the other side of the river.
  • TB: Florida to be able to show my kids and husband the ocean for their first time :-)
  • RL: Florida Keys by way of Lynchburg Tennessee.
  • JE: To Illinois. To do some ancestry research.
  • BW: Chicago. Short drive, great things to do, awesome time.
  • KO: I have always wanted to road trip on Route 66.
  • MD: The west coast. I would drive from Seattle to San Diego.
  • BA: To Glacier National Park, love it :)
  • BM: Vail, CO for one more run!
  • JF: Minnesota waterfalls!
  • JCT: Pacific Coast Highway!
  • NR: Houston, TX to see my family.
  • RM: Road trip to Seattle!
  • BL: Smokey, Montana.
  • MB: Grand Canyon!
  • ST: TORONTO! To visit my Mum.
  • LV: Sedona, Arizona; scenery and hiking.
  • TD: One word, BELOW!
