Automobiles have been around since the 19th century, and now over 60 million are produced each year. From the Model T to the Tesla Model X, cars have changed a lot over the years. We wanted to make a list of the greatest cars of all time, but how to pick?
We got our facebook followers to choose for us. They came up with a list of their choices for the greatest cars of all time. Here, in no particular order, are the ten they picked.
- My E90 BMW that keeps on going day in and day out. - MM
- Land Rover. Outfitted with a raised roof for a sleeping platform, sink with shower adapter, dining table (booth style), and microwave oven. And of course double gas tank to travel double far. And a winch. And the small fridge. I didn't make this up -- I've taken trips in this specially outfitted dream car. - LA
- The Corvette has always pushed the boundaries of automobile muscle and technology. - JE
- I would have to say the Shelby Cobra. Today it is still one of the most feared and talked about performance cars. My more conservative side says the Volvo XC60 that I purchased from Poquet ;) - AF
- 1991 Chevy Camaro T-Top V8 350. Varooooom! Nothing like the deep throated rumble of a Chevy V8. It would make my crystal sing in the china cabinet when it idled in the driveway. Miss that car. - MN
- The Jaguar E-Type series 1. Even Enzo Ferrari said it best: "This is the most beautiful car I have ever seen. The only problem with it is that it does not have a Ferrari badge on it." - BS
- The Aston Martin One-77. That thing is art. - CG
- The car that turns into a boat. Awesome and practical. - BB
- The Ford Model T. It made driving accessible to the masses. - RH
- The flying car! - BB
People have all sorts of reasons for picking their favorite cars--whether it’s for speed, luxury, or versatility. Which car would you have picked?
