Skidding tires, smoking engines, and fearless drivers. Movie car chases are the perfect adrenaline fix. Whether it’s Steve McQueen in “Bullitt” or Tom Cruise in the “Mission: Impossible” franchise, moviegoers can’t seem to get enough of watching cars get reduced to rubble.

They basically slapped a siren on top of a car and sped through the busy streets of NYC! It was filmed in mostly real traffic that involved real drivers and pedestrians who had no idea what was happening! They ran red lights and the many near collisions were real! - CH
