Tesla Motors officially unveiled their new, affordable Tesla Model 3 a few weeks ago and the latest creation by Elon Musk has been met with a lot of excitement and intrigue. Why? Well, here’s a little sneak peak at what the new Model 3 will offer:

• A 215 mile range per charge
• Zero to 60 mph in under 6 seconds (faster options will be available)
• Designed to achieve a 5-Star Safety Rating
• Room for 5 adults
• More cargo capacity than any gasoline car within the same external dimensions.
• Autopilot Hardware
• Standard supercharging

By the Model 3’s unveiling, over 115,000 reservations were made within 24 hours, a total that reached 232,000 just that night. How many reservations are there now? Well, as of April 7th, 325,000. Since the unveiling, there has even been a design update that can be found here.
