As the market continues to evolve, car makers are always looking to have the newest car features. Today, we have infotainment systems like Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, as well as other revolutionary features like Ford’s hands-free liftgates and Park Assist. So, what’s next?
To find out what our fans would love to have, we asked them for the best car feature that hasn’t been invented yet, and there are some outstanding responses. See what they had to say!
- TDE: Everything Speed Racer can do!
- BS: Licorice dispenser as modeled in the movie Wayne's World in Garth's Mirth Mobile. Otherwise, I would love what the old luxury cars used to have and I would want them to bring back the shot glass and flask built into the glovebox like in the old Caddy's.
- CW: A barber robot. You can drive while getting a shave, haircut, highlights, waxing etc… Also denist robot. Brushing, cleanings, flossing etc...
- TK: Built-in insulated storage in the trunk, for when you buy milk or ice cream. or for hot food from take out.
- BWF: Somehow a way to clear all car Windows of snow while inside the car.
- TJ: Under car air bags, which would hopefully help float if hitting water.
- WEC: Time travel function. So that you will never be late.
- JO: Electrified surface to deter thieves and people touching it at shows.
- TJM: I’d like a coffee dispenser, only operable while the car is in park tho.
- CB: A stupid button to let other drivers know to get out of your way
- CH: Voice-activated controls for heater, AC, defrost, turn signals, headlights, radio etc. would be awesome!
- PJ: An air filter that keeps the new car smell smelling the same from day 1 because none of those you buy are as good as the day you buy a car.
- SP: Cow catcher, to help me "adjust" the driving patterns of the vehicles in front of me
- AD: A Diaper Changing Table
- BF: Water dispenser. It's so practical but I always feel like my water bottles are always empty and it's such a drag to bring them in the house or take them in a store to refill or get a new one
- KF: A microwave for the glove box!
- NB: Pizza oven
- RLC: Pokemon GO on a heads-up display, a Flo-bee, or a spice rack haha!
- KJ: Side cameras to see if someone is in your blind spot.
- LF: A Coca-Cola dispenser.
- KT: Inside window washers!
- WBB: Make them self-vacuuming!
- KM: A seat that won't wrinkle your clothes.
- MCJ: A purse holder big enough!
- JJM: Self cleaning car. Washes and dries itself.
- KM: Recliner w/ a foot rest!
