In honor of Memorial Day, we asked our fans and followers what car they thought was the most patriotic car ever made, and one vehicle in-particular emerged victorious!

So for the 4th of July, we felt it was most appropriate to share the results! But before we share the winner with you, here are some of the other suggestions:

  • CPP: Hands down the Chevy in the picture you posted! That is a dream ride for any American soldier, past or present....
  • JC: The 1968 Ford Mustang fastback as featured in the movie, "Bullitt" starring Steve McQueen. That car was An American Badass!!

  • MD: 1977 Firebird Trans Am Bandit Edition or maybe the AMC Gremlin.

  • NP: The 1958 Nash- looked like a Tank but also a bath tub upside down.

  • PA: The Camaro is amazing. Young and old can appreciate it.

  • AA: ‘67 Shelby GT 500! The paint job in this blog’s pic is so awesome though!

  • MK:

  • BS:

  • JE: A Chevrolet. "See the USA in your Chevrolet."

  • JA: 1957 Chevy Bel-Air.

  • BWF: Pontiac GTO.

  • MC: 1966 Corvette!!!

  • RS: Hummer H1.

The Winner: The Willy's Jeep!

  • RH: US Army issue Willys Jeep!
  • BB: The Jeep Wrangler. Not only for its history with the military, but it just makes me think of going to American beaches and freedom driving on the open road!
  • WBB: The Jeep. It served the US army in wars around the globe. A French friend of mine has one that was left behind at the end of WWII.
  • JC: The Jeep Wrangler. It was the first car to drive on all 7 continents and is why there are 7 slots in the grill of every Jeep vehicle!
  • JC: The Jeeps have been classic vehicles for over 75 years and they continue to be so today.
