When you sign an NFL contract, one of the first things you may buy is a brand new, shiny car.

However, after signing a two-year, $3.5 million deal with the Dallas Cowboys earlier in the offseason, running back Alfred Morris says that he won't be spending his money on a new car.

As the proud owner of a 1991 Mazda 626 that he bought in college from his pastor for $2, he said his beloved vehicle isn't going anywhere anytime soon.

"Yes, I still have my car. I still drive 'Bentley' which is what I call my car even though she's not really a Bentley. It's always going to be my baby and I'm going to drive it 'til she dies," he told Dallas’ 5 Points Blue.

Morris and his Mazda gained recognition in 2012 when the Washington Redskins selected the athlete in the 6th round of the NFL Draft.

The camper-boat hybrid has had an interesting past. Envisioned as the new way to camp by the water, companies like Aqua-Trail began creating these floating homes for an intrigued market. Route 66 could be getting a major upgrade, turning the once highly travel vacation route into a solar-powered, glowing superhighway.

The Missouri Department of Transportation (MoDOT) has announced plans to upgrade a small stretch of the historic roadway, which originally stretched from Chicago to California.

The project is in partnership with Solar Roadways, the creators of specially-engineered, solar-powered panels which can support the weight of cars. The octagon-shaped panels feature built-in LEDs to create light-up road markings and can be used to generate electricity to donate back to the grid.
